About the Role
As the Lead 2026 AI Architect, you will be responsible for designing the architectural blueprints for AI models that can predict, adapt, and learn in real-time. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum-ready algorithms into our core platforms. Key Objectives
- Define the technical vision for Vertex Horizon's 2026 AI Roadmap.
- Design and implement robust, fault-tolerant AI systems capable of processing exabytes of data.
- Oversee the deployment of Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) infrastructures.
Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the architecture of high-performance AI systems tailored for 2026 computational standards.
- Lead a team of senior data scientists and engineers to innovate in the fields of Neural Networks and Deep Reinforcement Learning.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure the ethical and secure deployment of autonomous agents.
- Mentor junior staff and conduct code reviews to maintain the highest engineering standards.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in AI, Quantum Computing, and Edge Intelligence.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a lead architectural role.
- Deep expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and distributed systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of Generative AI models, NLP, and computer vision.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
