Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal transformations through 2026+
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with corporate objectives and market disruption opportunities
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and leadership teams to ideate future-state solutions
- Produce trend reports, scenario analyses, and predictive models to inform high-stakes decisions
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Champion a culture of experimentation by prototyping future concepts and validating market readiness
- Present visionary insights to stakeholders through compelling narratives and data-driven storytelling
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Track record of leading initiatives that generated measurable market disruption or revenue growth
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future-shaping projects
- Comfort operating in ambiguity with ability to navigate uncharted territories
