Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2030
- Develop strategic roadmaps for product innovation aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable business strategies
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for emerging tech access
- Present trend forecasts to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven narratives
- Build and maintain a proprietary foresight database using AI-driven analytics platforms
- Mentor junior futurists while fostering a culture of intellectual curiosity
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial solutions
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and technology adoption curves
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Proficient in foresight tools (e.g., Trend Monitoring Systems, Delphi Method)
