Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive first-level technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person during weekend shifts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and network connectivity.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems (Windows/macOS) and office applications.
- Monitor system performance and proactively report technical anomalies or security risks to the senior IT team.
- Conduct routine hardware audits, inventory checks, and software updates on weekends.
- Ensure a secure and efficient working environment for all staff members during business hours.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in the help desk ticketing system.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field is a plus.
- No prior professional experience required; we provide full paid training and mentorship.
- Basic understanding of PC hardware components, operating systems, and peripherals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users simply.
