As a Weekend Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our supply chain runs smoothly. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to a high-performing team.
Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and manage incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders efficiently to meet daily shipping targets.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, when certified.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all items meet Apex’s quality standards before shipping.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with floor managers and team members to resolve operational issues quickly.
Qualifications
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management is preferred but not required.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and attendance.
- Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable using handheld scanners and warehouse management software.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in data entry and order fulfillment.
