Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Safely and efficiently load, unload, and transport merchandise within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory counts, stock organization, and maintaining accurate inventory records to ensure stock levels are optimal.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and hand trucks to move materials.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and accuracy, reporting discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a secure work environment for all team members.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and cross-functional departments to resolve issues and streamline workflows.
Qualifications
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday, including holidays as required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and documentation.
- Basic Math Skills: Proficiency in basic arithmetic for scanning, counting, and verifying quantities.
