Responsibilities
- Load and unload: Safely and efficiently handle freight using pallet jacks and forklifts to load and unload trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and prevent damage.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times.
- System Operation: Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and process orders.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a secure workspace.
- Quality Control: Perform routine checks on products and packaging to meet quality standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld scanners.
- Attitude: Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive work ethic.
