Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks and containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick items from inventory and pack them for shipment using appropriate packaging materials.
- Inventory Control: Assist with cycle counts and inventory management to ensure stock levels are correct.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage before shipping and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic upkeep on warehouse equipment and maintain a clean work environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and walk on various floor surfaces.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Reliability: Must possess a strong work ethic and be punctual.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills to follow safety guidelines and instructions.
- License: Valid driver's license is preferred but not always required for this entry-level role.
