Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload delivery trucks according to safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate counts and maintain organized warehouse shelves to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and securing of goods.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of warehouse equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the morning shift team to ensure seamless handover of duties.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Prior warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Reliability: Must have a proven track record of punctuality and attendance.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
