Responsibilities
- Picking & Packing: Accurately select and prepare customer orders for shipping using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and ensure all inventory is stored safely and organized.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse machinery.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets company standards to prevent shipping errors.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and workplace policies at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and coworkers to meet daily productivity goals.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Sunday) on a regular schedule.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to arrive on time every shift.
- Communication: Basic English skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from the Joliet facility.
