Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight: Safely operate material handling equipment to move shipments in and out of the facility.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock levels and perform cycle counts during shift handovers.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a secure workplace for everyone.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on forklifts and pallet jacks, reporting any malfunctions immediately.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with team leads and coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and work ethic.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
