Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping, during weekend shifts.
- Lead and mentor a team of associates, providing clear instructions and performance feedback to ensure high productivity.
- Monitor inventory levels and reconcile stock discrepancies using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Enforce strict safety and compliance protocols to ensure a hazard-free workplace for all employees.
- Coordinate with the shift manager to prioritize orders and resolve operational bottlenecks efficiently.
- Conduct shift briefings and end-of-shift reports to communicate status updates to upper management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a related field.
- Previous supervisory or lead experience is required.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and WMS platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
