Responsibilities
- Execute Daily Operations: Assist in the efficient processing and handling of inventory and orders during high-traffic weekend shifts.
- Customer Assistance: Provide exceptional support to internal and external clients by answering inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Quality Control: Inspect products and packaging to ensure they meet Apex Logistics' high standards before shipment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with floor supervisors and team members to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, stock movements, and incident reports.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic cleaning and minor maintenance checks on warehouse equipment as directed.
- Adherence to Safety: Strictly follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a secure workplace for everyone.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with the ability to work flexible shifts.
- Experience: Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and walk throughout the facility.
- Computer Proficiency: Basic computer skills and comfort using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems.
