Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Manage and supervise all warehouse and logistics operations during assigned weekend shifts to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Direct, mentor, and support a team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, oversee receiving and shipping processes, and ensure accurate inventory counts using scanning technology.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular audits of products and processes to identify areas for improvement and resolve operational issues immediately.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for weekend operations, communicating effectively with the daytime management team and upper leadership.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Business or Logistics preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and basic computer literacy.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to make quick, effective decisions under pressure.
