Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and assisting with product selection to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operations: Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit, and digital payments with precision.
- Merchandising: Maintain store appearance by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are labeled correctly and easily accessible.
- Inventory Management: Assist in regular stock counts, receiving shipments, and checking product quality and freshness.
- Team Collaboration: Support fellow team members during peak weekend hours to ensure store operations run smoothly.
- Problem Solving: Address customer concerns or issues promptly and escalate complex situations to the Store Manager when necessary.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and some weekdays as needed.
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and the ability to adhere to dress code and attendance policies.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and move around the sales floor.
- Technology: Basic computer skills and comfort with learning new point-of-sale software.
