Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a smile, providing an exceptional shopping experience from the moment they enter the store.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, processing transactions efficiently and handling payments securely.
- Organize and maintain store displays to ensure products are presented attractively and inventory is up-to-date.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily and weekly sales targets and promotional goals.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Assist in stock replenishment and store cleaning duties to uphold a pristine shopping environment.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week, primarily on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (10kg) as needed.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Austin location.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
