Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selection and inquiries.
- Stock shelves and organize displays to ensure a neat and appealing store environment.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash and card payments while adhering to all cash-handling policies.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including security checks and inventory counts.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain store standards and achieve sales goals.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or damages to management.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn new tasks quickly.
