Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and provide product recommendations to enhance the shopping experience.
- Store Operations: Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment throughout the weekend.
- Inventory Management: Help with receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and performing regular inventory counts to ensure product availability.
- Checkout Assistance: Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently, process transactions accurately, and handle cash handling with precision.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow during busy weekend shifts.
- Merchandising: Ensure promotional displays are set up correctly and merchandise is priced accurately according to company standards.
- Loss Prevention: Monitor the sales floor for safety hazards and assist in preventing theft to protect company assets.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays.
- Reliability: A strong track record of punctuality and consistency is essential.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift merchandise (up to 25 lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic Math: Comfort with basic arithmetic and using technology (smartphones, tablets, etc.) for scanning and checking IDs.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn new tasks and adapt to changing priorities during peak shopping hours.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
