Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations during weekend shifts to ensure timely processing of inbound and outbound freight.
- Manage and coordinate a team of warehouse associates to maintain high productivity and safety standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce OSHA compliance protocols to prevent accidents.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment to prevent stockouts.
- Operate heavy machinery (Forklifts, Pallet Jacks) safely and efficiently as required.
- Resolve operational issues in real-time and communicate effectively with management.
- Train new hires on standard operating procedures and company culture.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics management.
- Valid forklift certification and ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Proven track record of reliability and punctuality, specifically for weekend availability.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Basic computer proficiency in inventory management software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
