Responsibilities
- Lead Weekend Operations: Direct and supervise all warehouse and logistics activities during Saturday and Sunday shifts to ensure 100% on-time delivery.
- Team Management: Mentor, train, and evaluate a team of warehouse staff and logistics coordinators to maintain high morale and productivity.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including accuracy, speed, and safety metrics, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Resource Allocation: Strategically plan inventory and staffing levels for weekend coverage to prevent bottlenecks.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a secure working environment for all personnel.
- Reporting: Generate and present comprehensive operational reports to regional management on a weekly basis.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or warehouse operations leadership.
- Availability: Must be available to work full time hours exclusively on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with no conflicts.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field preferred; High School diploma or GED required.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with diverse teams.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to make quick, effective decisions under pressure.
