Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment, ensuring 100% accuracy during the weekend shift.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of safety and productivity.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce OSHA compliance standards to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Manage inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies promptly to optimize stock availability.
- Coordinate with the morning shift supervisor to ensure a smooth transition of operations and accurate handover of daily logs.
- Monitor equipment functionality and schedule necessary maintenance for forklifts and material handling tools.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve operational issues efficiently to maintain high service standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or operations leadership.
- Proven ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team effectively.
- Familiarity with warehouse management software (WMS) and inventory tracking systems.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level management roles.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency.
