Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors to move merchandise throughout the facility.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate cycle counts and inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy and reduce discrepancies.
- Packaging & Labeling: Prepare and label packages for shipment, ensuring all documentation is correct and compliant with industry standards.
- Load & Unload Operations: Physically load and unload trucks, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage or defects before processing to maintain high-quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and coworkers to ensure efficient workflow during peak times.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent work experience accepted.
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work full-time weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in data entry and inventory tracking.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliability: Punctual with a history of consistent attendance.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is preferred but not always required depending on the specific department.
