Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including mobility assistance, vital sign monitoring, and medication support
- Document clinical observations accurately in electronic health records
- Assist with patient hygiene, nutrition, and comfort measures
- Collaborate with RNs on care plans and emergency response protocols
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
- Transport patients safely between departments and facilities
- Support patient education and discharge preparation
Qualifications
- Current CNA or EMT certification (required)
- Minimum 6 months acute care or long-term experience
- Flexibility for rotating weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation systems
- Clear background check and TB screening
