Responsibilities
- Perform clinical procedures including vital signs, injections, and EKGs
- Assist providers with patient examinations and minor treatments
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- 1+ years clinical experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/EMR)
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekends
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
