Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end logistics process, including scheduling, tracking, and coordination of shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipping documents, and delivery logs.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and local laws.
- Analyze shipping data to identify trends and improve operational efficiency.
- Oversee weekend shift operations and coordinate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Process purchase orders and manage vendor relationships to secure the best rates.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
