Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely and efficiently load and unload trailers using appropriate equipment, ensuring cargo security.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate inventory counts and maintain organized stock areas to ensure product availability.
- Packing & Labeling: Prepare packages for shipment with precision, applying proper labeling and documentation.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and in compliance with safety protocols.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Equivalent work experience may be considered.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods during the night shift.
- Reliable Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from the Charlotte facility.
- Flexibility: Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) during night shift hours.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
