Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming freight to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners, to move inventory efficiently.
- Process and prepare outbound shipments according to shipping labels and customer requirements.
- Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Adhere to strict safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure a seamless transition and operational continuity.
- Report any damaged goods or equipment issues to the Shift Supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; relevant logistics experience is a plus.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and flexible weekend hours as needed.
- Valid forklift certification is highly preferred but training may be provided.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
