Responsibilities
- Oversee daily logistics operations: Manage inventory flow, shipping, and receiving processes to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a team of warehouse staff and drivers, conducting performance reviews and providing constructive feedback.
- Process Optimization: Analyze current workflows and implement best practices to reduce waste and improve delivery times.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with third-party logistics partners and suppliers to negotiate contracts and resolve issues.
- Data Analysis: Generate weekly reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) including turnover rates and cost savings.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in logistics, supply chain management, or warehouse operations.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing conflict.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and resolve discrepancies immediately.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and staff.
