Responsibilities
- Forecast technological, social, and economic trends through quantitative modeling and qualitative research
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals
- Lead cross-functional workshops on emerging tech adoption (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Partner with venture capital arm to identify and invest in disruptive startups
- Author thought leadership reports for industry conferences and publications
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical and climate-related disruptions
- Mentor junior futurists and establish internal foresight certification program
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published research on exponential technologies or socio-technical systems
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (Gartner, Forrester, custom AI models)
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, cross-impact matrices)
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on enterprise strategy or policy development
- Deep understanding of ethical implications of emerging technologies
