Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 5-year strategic innovation roadmap for emerging technologies (quantum, neurotech, climate AI)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends and paradigm shifts affecting 2026+ markets
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype next-gen solutions with design thinking principles
- Present strategic foresight insights to executive stakeholders and investor forums
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs for R&D acceleration
- Author thought leadership publications on technological singularity implications
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight or corporate innovation at tech scale-ups
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial innovation pipelines
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFPS) or Innovation Management preferred
- Portfolio showcasing future scenario planning and innovation roadmaps
