Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026-2030
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligning emerging opportunities with business objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable initiatives
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry experts
- Quantify market potential and ROI for emerging technologies
- Advise on ethical implications and societal impact of emerging innovations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategic Innovation, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend mapping platforms
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy preferred
