Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions impacting 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario planning models for C-suite executives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-focused solutions
- Author thought leadership content including white papers, trend reports, and keynote presentations
- Partner with R&D teams to align innovation roadmaps with future market needs
- Build and maintain an external network of futurists, technologists, and industry pioneers
- Quantify future opportunities through data modeling and predictive analytics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex future scenarios
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or innovation frameworks
- Experience facilitating executive workshops and strategic planning sessions
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis software
