Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and paradigm shifts affecting 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks through scenario planning and predictive modeling
- Architect innovation roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neurotech, and sustainable systems
- Partner with R&D to translate future insights into patentable IP and product roadmaps
- Design and deliver executive briefings on emerging threats and opportunities across global markets
- Establish and nurture an external futurist network including academic institutions and think tanks
- Embed foresight methodologies into organizational decision-making processes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience scaling foresight processes in enterprise environments
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies preferred
