Responsibilities
- Analyze exponential technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to forecast 2030+ market landscapes
- Develop and maintain horizon scanning frameworks using proprietary data pipelines and AI-driven trend analysis
- Design scenario planning workshops for executive leadership to stress-test strategic resilience against multiple futures
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for emerging human-machine collaboration challenges
- Author forward-looking thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Establish ethical guardrails for responsible innovation through stakeholder engagement frameworks
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability program
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurism with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Innovation Management, or related field
- Technical proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive modeling platforms
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into compelling executive narratives
- Published thought leadership in futurism publications (e.g., Futures Research Quarterly)
- Experience facilitating C-level workshops with 15+ stakeholders across diverse industries
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from foresight academy) preferred
