Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Develop 5-10 year innovation roadmaps aligned with global megatrends and market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into R&D priorities
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership publications on future-of-work and human-machine collaboration
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in innovation consulting, R&D strategy, or futurism role at tech-forward organizations
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging tech domains (AI, AR/VR, neurotech, or climate tech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight methodologies (e.g., scenario planning, Delphi technique)
