Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum AI, neural interfaces, autonomous systems)
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (Web4.0, synthetic biology, spatial computing)
- Present strategic briefings to investors, board members, and government stakeholders
- Establish innovation partnerships with academic institutions and global tech consortia
- Drive R&D budget allocation for breakthrough initiatives with >$50M potential impact
- Author thought leadership publications on technological singularity preparation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in future-focused roles
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proven track record in launching disruptive technologies with market validation
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, AI governance, or decentralized systems
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio of published research or patents in forward-looking technology domains
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants (DARPA, NSF, etc.)
