Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and vital sign measurements
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and examinations
- Administer medications and treatments under provider supervision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Coordinate patient scheduling and appointment follow-ups
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible weekend schedule
- Florida state medical assistant license
- Experience with patient intake protocols
