Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Manage and supervise all daily operations during the weekend shift, ensuring all production and logistics targets are met efficiently.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of warehouse associates to ensure high productivity and morale.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure work environment and prevent accidents.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, oversee stock accuracy, and coordinate with the central team to resolve discrepancies.
- Process Optimization: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve workflow efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Shift Coordination: Conduct morning briefings and end-of-shift reviews to ensure clear communication and handover of critical information.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics; prior supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, specifically on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
- Technical: Proficient in using inventory management software and basic computer applications.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
