Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during assigned weekend shifts (Fri-Sun)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless continuity of care
- Document patient progress using EMR systems with precision
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Participate in weekend staff development sessions
- Support weekend admissions and discharge procedures
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing or Allied Health required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in acute care setting
- Current Louisiana state license in good standing
- BLS/CPR certification mandatory
- Demonstrated ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Exceptional communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Proficiency with Epic EMR systems preferred
