Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026 strategic foresight frameworks through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuro interfaces)
- Produce actionable 10-year strategic roadmaps for C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused institutions
- Design and implement 'Future Impact Assessments' for all major company initiatives
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists in predictive methodologies
- Present quarterly future outlooks to investors and industry conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing long-term roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, AR/VR) and societal megatrends
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience with foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, causal layered analysis)
- Strong presentation skills with ability to influence executive leadership and external stakeholders
