Responsibilities
- Forecast global technological, economic, and social trends through 2026+ using predictive modeling and scenario planning
- Develop and maintain the company's Innovation Radar System, identifying disruptive opportunities and threats
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into product roadmaps and business strategies
- Present strategic foresight reports to executive leadership and boards with data-driven narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and innovation labs
- Champion future-oriented culture through internal thought leadership and mentorship programs
- Monitor competitor innovation portfolios and emerging market disruptors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex future scenarios
- Experience developing long-term strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Published thought leadership in future studies or innovation domains
