Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps for AI, quantum, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation pods to prototype future business models
- Conduct horizon-scanning for emerging tech disruptions across 15+ industries
- Present strategic futures to C-suite and board stakeholders quarterly
- Build patent portfolios for breakthrough innovations in emerging fields
- Partner with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University on research initiatives
- Mentor next-generation futurists through our internal incubator program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or tech R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching future-oriented products/services
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in futures or tech strategy (Harvard/MIT preferred)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ disruptive innovations brought to market
