Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends, market disruptions, and socio-economic shifts to forecast 2026+ industry landscapes
- Develop and execute innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term organizational vision
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and scenario-planning frameworks
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to bridge futuristic concepts with market-ready applications
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, keynote presentations, and industry forums
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an organization-wide culture of strategic foresight
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into successful commercial outcomes
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience building and managing global foresight networks
