Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual '2026 Horizon Report' analyzing tech convergence, regulatory shifts, and market disruptors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into product roadmaps and investment strategies
- Partner with AI research teams to integrate predictive analytics into strategic decision frameworks
- Establish KPIs for measuring organizational preparedness for 2026's key inflection points
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership platforms
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and scenario planning
- Author white papers on emerging risks and opportunities in quantum-adjacent industries
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, futurism, or technology innovation with Fortune 500 exposure
- Expertise in at least three exponential technologies (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Proven track record of developing and executing future-oriented business strategies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership on 2020s societal or technological tipping points
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi Method)
- Experience advising C-suite on long-term risk mitigation and innovation positioning
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight work with measurable business impact
