Responsibilities
- Supervise Weekend Operations: Manage the daily workflow for the Saturday and Sunday shifts, ensuring all targets and KPIs are met efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the receiving, stocking, and shipping processes to maintain 100% accuracy and minimize shrinkage.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and train warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols (OSHA standards) to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Problem Resolution: Address operational bottlenecks and resolve logistical issues immediately to prevent downtime.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams or working in a supervisory capacity.
- Shift Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a full-time basis.
- Certifications: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (preferred).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
