Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely and efficiently load and unload freight from trailers using appropriate equipment.
- Pick and Pack: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records within the warehouse.
- Equipment Operation: Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and hand trucks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a secure working environment.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of hazards to optimize workflow.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and colleagues to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends, specifically Saturdays and Sundays.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required for the right candidates.
- License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are highly desirable.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and strong attention to detail are essential.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and dependability is a must.
