Responsibilities
- Efficient Loading/Unloading: Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, inspect, and stock incoming merchandise to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area organized, clean, and safe by adhering to all OSHA safety protocols.
- Equipment Operation: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on warehouse equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Quality Control: Verify order accuracy and resolve discrepancies with customers or supervisors.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and some weekday shifts as needed.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with a history of punctuality and attendance.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills; ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in counting, scanning, and documenting inventory.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
