Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (training provided).
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan, pick, pack, and stage merchandise for shipping and receiving.
- Load and Unload Trucks: Efficiently manage the loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and ensure all packaging meets company standards.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and workplace housekeeping protocols.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and fellow associates to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and occasional holidays.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must have a consistent work history and be punctual.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills; ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred, but not strictly required.
