Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise from trucks and trailers using forklifts or pallet jacks.
- Packing & Shipping: Accurately pack, label, and prepare products for shipment according to company standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and organizing stock areas.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all items meet quality specifications before packing.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of warehouse equipment and work areas.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a secure working environment.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- No Experience Required: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Availability: Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays on a regular basis.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team environment.
