Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring cargo is secured properly.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate inventory counts, audits, and cycle counts to maintain 99.9% accuracy.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with meticulous attention to detail and speed.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and report on the condition of warehouse equipment and safety gear before use.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including shipping labels and logs, in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for long periods.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability in previous employment.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and fast-paced workflows.
